(1:50, in a vacuum, it falls on the sixth turn. although everyone who has played in the current meta knows this)
Well, I don't play much in the current meta, and I haven't seen this combo played even once, although I imagined it would be about as mediocre as it is. A week ago, when I was still trying to grind the SV ladder, it consisted of dragons, various swords, dishevels, and aegis monks.
My favorite class (I wasn't a zoo-down player, honestly).
Out of my 500 wins, probably about 300 were with zoo-down, and the only legend I've taken was also with it :o I've never been a fan of Reno, although I often played with him in the Gadgetzan meta. But malylocks/dragonlocks are a different story... it's a pity that it's so weak :)
I hardly see any rogues, and those that exist get destroyed before they can play their combo. Sometimes they really ramp up quickly, on turn 4-5, but I wouldn't call this deck strong. If you don't get a good hand, you're dead. It only plays against slow control decks, but against them, everyone has been playing well for several expansions in a row.
On the first day of the patch, I played about 8-2 with this rogue, while with other decks, not just handlock, I regularly lost to them, which is why I had that impression. But now, I agree, there are fewer of them. Plus, they started putting these elementals for one mana into the rogue deck - for some reason, I find it easier to play against this version, although it would seem that they should ramp up better.
