Well, it doesn't matter; maybe the person just prefers to save manually – it gives them peace of mind.
p.s. I don't understand what the problem is with not letting the opponent pass their turn. They attacked you, which means you revealed your army/mana/stats/lack of a wish. Let them just attack with the same composition.
