"RemoveBlackBgHotSeat" – removes the black screen during the opponent's turn in hotseat mode.
I have Tribes of the East 3.1 + Epic War Age 2.6.2. I installed the RemoveBlackBgHotSeat.pak file in the data folder, and even changed the file date of RemoveBlackBgHotSeat.pak to the current date, and also changed the date of the AdventureScreen-Heavy.(WindowScreenShared).xdb file, which is inside this mod, to the current date, but I still get a black screen during the computer's turn in Network Game - One Computer mode (i.e., Hot-Seat).
Added 10 minutes ago I compared the original files from data.pak and the mod file in terms of content, and they differ in the following - in your mod (or rather, it was taken from "HC"), the following lines have been added:
What is this comment tag <--!, and why doesn't it have a closing tag? But that's not the point, I realized that the mod author (SimonaK) was trying to comment out or remove this line, so I completely removed this line, saved it, but the result is the same.
How can I make the mod work, because it's so annoying when the computer takes your Castle because you didn't notice its color blending with the textures on the mini-map.
Added 14 minutes ago I figured it out. It turns out that this mod doesn't work when I load a network game that I saved before changing the date of this mod to today's date. When creating a new network game, everything works, the screen doesn't darken. And also, this mod didn't work until I changed its date to the current date! Good to know!
