I don't communicate much with writers; I communicate more with artists (a lot). And I constantly hear this phrase from them, yeah. Although, in my amateur opinion, the drawings are excellent, but... there is no limit to perfection.
So everything is fine, that's how it should be.

I wanted it to be so that when you read it, you would be immediately captivated by the country or some other concept, but not from halfway through the paragraph.
I think the problem is that I haven't read much in recent years, and what I have read is in English.

Well, yes, the more you read, the higher your writing skill.
But the more you write, the higher your writing skill becomes too. Conclusion: more experience - higher skill.
Even worse, skills that are not used in practice for at least six months deteriorate or disappear altogether.

Here, you need to understand that you will be answered in Russian. And technical details need to be written (or duplicated) in Russian. So, as a result, something strange may turn out.
But a story in English - why not.
