Epic War Age (EWA) - Adapted Mod Collection

My friend's game crashes upon startup – right from the first second of the intro. We tried deleting the video file to skip directly to the main menu, but it still crashes. His computer is relatively modern, and he has a licensed 64-bit version of Windows 10. Running the game as an administrator and trying all compatibility modes don't help.
