HoMM3 HD is a mod (add-on) for the game Heroes of Might and Magic 3.

It’s a good thing, but it won’t really change anything in the world of professional Heroes. I’ve written about this before (and not just once) that the real breakthrough would be the development of software for broadcasting directly from the game. I’ve seen something similar in Dota. So that viewers could enter as spectators directly into the game of two players and not just watch the picture that the streamer provides, the quality of which depends on many factors, but also have the opportunity to follow the progress and zoom in on the heroes, castles, view information about the current state of affairs in the game, etc. If this is possible in Heroes, I would personally organize a fundraising campaign.
