Aegis seems a bit overpowered. Although, they might introduce more cards that reduce the follower's attack, like "follow the rules!" from Haesic. Right now, it's basically only countered by some amulet with Kaguyi. Or maybe the Shadowcraft abilities "destroy a random follower" (corpse, necromancer assassin, or even Khavi) will work on it?
Why would a new legendary need to "survive until the second turn" if it won't do anything on that turn, but will do something on the first?
I didn't say that the new legendary needs to survive until the second turn. I meant that it seems stronger than the fly lord in terms of its immediate impact. Although you're probably right, the comparison isn't really appropriate here.

I think either ward won't be applied to Aegis at all, or if it somehow is, it won't work the same way as ward on a creature with ambush.
