There's a good reason for that. Necropolis is the only Castle in Heroes where there aren't any clearly defined strong starting heroes (due to Galtran's departure). In games, playing Necropolis as the red player will almost always give you a significant advantage. Unless we introduce the option to ban one hero, as is done when playing mirror matches.
One of the goals of professional Tournaments is to determine the relative strength of starting heroes. And for many templates (for all non-mirror matches), this is almost the only opportunity to play with identical Castles, because in other Tournaments, such pairs are usually re-randomized.
Vik, what "good reasons" do we even have to play Heroes? Is there even one, the most important one? Maybe it could apply to this situation?
