You can experience a similar feeling if you start a regular single-player game and are given a ton of loot right from the beginning.

If this game also has good gameplay/an interesting story, I won't have a problem with it.
Actually, I've spent quite a few hours grinding in Diablo 2/JRPG/MMOs, so I know what you're talking about, but this isn't the case here.
