Unfortunately, luck decided everything. I was probably leading until the last round, but I got matched against a player with a low bookmaking score in the coin toss, while my opponent had a high one. Nothing depended on me in the end, and if it had been the other way around, I think I would have taken 1st place. And in general, the tournament turned out badly for me, with one loss after another. Respect only to GL; I had a normal game with him, which is not much for 7 games.
P.S. In general, the question is, how was it determined who would get the DVP under the boss – by a coin toss or some program? Maybe automatically? (In any case, this action was the most important in the tournament).
If Bolivar had won against Dexter in the last round, there wouldn't have been this post ))))))))))
Regarding Stiletto and Yavgen – I think the punishment is ambiguous. They were also punished (at least that's what the text shows), just like Eldar and Chernobog? But unlike the two mentioned above, they honestly wrote that they were withdrawing. Life circumstances can change. Alizvit wrote that he was withdrawing (in the previous tournament), and everyone took it normally – well, the person couldn't, it just happened that way. No penalties were applied to him.
Or does disqualification not really mean anything? Like, no future bans?
And my congratulations to Vil! Well done, not only does he have a high level of play, but also a consistent record of top results (I mainly watch Vil and Dmitrik's streams, no offense to the others, there just isn't enough time for all the good players, and I don't always manage to watch Vil and Dmitrik's streams – it all seems easy and simple, but somehow I can't seem to replicate it)).
