Unfortunately, luck decided everything. I was probably leading until the last round, but I got a player with a low rating as my opponent in the final match, while my opponent had a high rating. Nothing depended on me in the end, and if it had been the other way around, I think I would have taken 1st place. And in general, the tournament turned out badly for me, with one loss after another. Respect only to GL; I had a good game with him, which is not much for 7 games.
P.S. I'm curious about how it was determined who would face the DVP (Defensive Victory Point) boss – was it by coin toss or some kind of program? Maybe it was automatic. In any case, this action was the most important in the tournament.
