It's possible that I won't be the only one coming from Michurinsk, plus a couple more people.

The base can accommodate 20 people. As a deterrent, someone considering whether or not to come might say, "Oh, 20 people have already gathered, where else can I go?" Is there another base nearby, within a 10-minute walk, where others could stay if more than 20-24 people show up?
