It loses its original meaning and the global nature of the event! What prevents you from holding your own off-site events for those who cannot afford to attend the CIS event on other dates? Hold your own M-200 event in March, and that's it; it's the same thing, but only those people who have already bought tickets for the CIS event will be able to come to you if they wish. By setting the same dates, you are simply splitting the audience and undermining the Main Event, and you are also ruining your own attendance!

Roman, you could have added a little and, instead of this "Petersburg" event, you could have gone to the CIS event in Volgograd; it's not that far for you, not for the entire duration, but just for a few days. I don't know what your reasons are, but it used to be different! There were no alternatives; everyone went to the one Main Event, and if they couldn't afford it, they "made do" with gatherings in their local community, but on different dates.

...People simply don't have the money... My tournament is for those who CANNOT come to this CIS event for some reason, but still want to spend a few days among their friends.
