And again about "just to spite"... My tournament is for those who CANNOT come to this CIS event for some reason, but still want to spend a few days among their own.

But it will also attract those who COULD go to VLG. But why go there when everything will be in St. Petersburg/Moscow?
(this is not a protest, I see what is happening as a natural stage in the community's development, I am even glad that it has become so large that we can afford to consider options to split up, I just hope that then the spiral of development will again turn towards rethinking/unification).
