Of course, the tournament rules are up to the organizers. But ideally, the rules should be uniform across the portal, adopted and approved by a sort of "coordinating council," and all newly created tournaments should adhere to them by default, unless otherwise specified. Read their explanation once, ask a question if something is unclear (not that many questions are asked, by the way), get a comprehensive answer, and don't return to this topic again... It's not difficult for any player and much easier than creating chaos in every tournament thread... I'll get to it when I have time...
