Each player is entitled to 3 restarts with map regeneration (templates and Factions are random) for each first game against each player, and 3 restarts for each second game against each player (the template and Factions are set according to the tournament rules for the second game between players), no later than the third day (the end of the day is considered to be clicking the "end turn" button, regardless of whether the opponent has completed their current turn or not). If a restart is taken on 1-1-1, the player has 2 days for a restart for the next map (i.e., can take 2 more restarts on 1-1-1, or 1 restart on 1-1-2). If a restart is taken on 1-1-2, the player has 1 day for a restart for the next map (i.e., can take 1 more restart on 1-1-1). If a restart is taken on 1-1-3, the player has no days for a restart for the next map. In my opinion, this is a very questionable formula. The first and second games of the match are played with completely different restart strategies. What is the point of playing the second game in this case? In my opinion, it is worth choosing a random pair and a template for the game using one of the following methods: a) Contact a judge who will roll an 8-sided die (d8) to choose the Factions and templates for each player. b) Do this independently if this option suits both players.
