Just checked Yandex Tickets, and the price for early March, Yekaterinburg to Moscow, is cheaper than for May.
Price for early March: 3180 round trip.
Price for May: 6200 round trip.
Wow, what insightful price analysis from the comfort of your couch. Did it ever occur to you that May and March have different levels of appeal, and therefore different price multipliers?
And besides, not everyone flies domestic routes.
