I waited until the last moment to cast my spell, but my opponent defeated my archangels with an explosion and finished them off with birds (I didn't think he could take down 10 of them at once). As a result, I missed the spell cast and lost the battle despite having an advantage. If I had used the explosion on the birds, things would have been different.
