Decided to write about it here. Today, in a game against Twaryna, after playing a match with another opponent, I was browsing a save file with cheats enabled. Everyone knows the bug where, after a single-player game with a cheat activated for full city development, the effect of the cheat persists in multiplayer mode if the game isn't restarted. This can be used to great advantage: after saving and before continuing with an opponent, launch the game in single-player mode and activate that cheat. Then, without closing the game, connect to the opponent or host the game yourself. If you have a Tower as a city, you can see the entire map; if you simply have cities with a Guild Master up to level 5, you can check where you'll get the spells you need right away, so you know where to build. Then, you say there was a crash or disconnect, or just come up with something (like, "I remembered something, let's start over and I'll reload"). The main thing is not to pass the turn and not get caught.)
