Vip (Humans, Dugal) lost to Dwp (Elves, Anven) by 215 crowns.

In short, luck played a big role. In the final battle, where 21 attacks were made, the ratio of successful to unsuccessful attacks was 14/7 (luck = 4). This was fatal for Anven with Retribution +32 and 4 Vengeances. Honestly, it's the first time in many years that I've seen luck and Vengeances work so well on my side. It constantly works against me, but rarely in my favor, and I usually end up losing. This time, it seems like the statistics evened out. And for the first time, I saw Anven being incredibly effective on my side.
My opponent was understandably upset.

Regarding the game:
In the first game, my opponent played passively and eventually conceded. But I managed to convince him to play it out. In the end, on the fifth week, after both of us had completely cleared our respective treasure rooms, we met. My opponent had a half-completed Necropolis + Wind, while I only had a mediocre ring and 6 Dragon Archons, and that was all from the treasure room.
With such a disadvantage in initiative, plus the luck working for the Human, it would have been a one-sided victory, and the Vengeances started "working" only when there was nothing left in the stacks...
Vip generously offered a rematch.

In the second game, Anven was dominant from the start, with two-level, 2, 3, 6 heroes, and regeneration in the starting town. But somehow, time slipped away. The portal to the treasure room turned out to be the furthest away. There were many very difficult encounters with guardians in the dark. I was losing badly = 10 oaks, 30 bows, 10 druids. And I even arrived at the treasure room later than Dugal. So, I didn't finish clearing it, but only took what was necessary to keep up with the pace by the end of the fifth week.
In the end, I was sure that a similar defeat was inevitable, but I got lucky.
