We started playing a surrender gamble; the respawn was of mediocre quality with exits to adjacent zones on wasteland terrain. Tazar got Diplomacy at level 3 along with Navigation, but then he redeemed himself by picking up Earth Magic. Wyverns in the Citadel; I scraped together enough for the Marketplace and breached the Portal with 85 Golems, then Medusas and Queens... had to boost my stats, buy a Spellbook, and with Mass Slow + Stone Skin, the Medusas fell easily. Then two central towns; I was developing Solmyr in parallel, planning to head to the center, but word came of the surrender — Crag Hack without Mass Magic was taken by 40 Scorpicores.
