Another great game with herolwy!
The start was so-so, no elves showed up, a block of Magogs on one of the roads, exit through the shooters, little gold, few Centaurs. I was about to take a restart, but Gunnar arrives. I play. It turned out the road junction was good, I took the orange dungeon by the end of the week, a village, and a scroll of Armageddon.
Later I found an external dwelling of Minotaurs in the adjacent zone and a tier-1 Griffin Conservatory, which I successfully took with scout heroes. Then I took a ramp, upgraded the elves there, and with Oil dismantled the max Griffin Conservatory, got a bit mauled by Morale, but it was tolerable. I build a Mage Guild for Armageddon: they gave me Town Portal and Berserker. The opponent showed up in the middle of the second week, and after I cut down his scout hero on an Angel, the opponent attacks himself. His army: 9 Cyclopes, 6 Birds, 3 Angels, and Goblins with Wolves and Orcs. Mine: 7 Minotaurs, 3 Unicorns, 5 Angels, and tier-1 Pegasi. The Fireball went very badly for me. I retreat on the Angel, without killing a single one of his. Armageddon came into play from a scout hero for 230 damage, the opponent had two Angels left... and I gave him a scroll.
After replenishing mana, I run with the Angel, 4 Wyverns, and tier-1 units after Dess with no mana. Dess managed to take a Dragon Fly Hive for 8 Wyverns and grab a village. I take the village, but don't reach the hero in time. Dess takes it back and attacks with a leveled-up Ciele with shooters for 180. I managed to kill the Angel and retreat. Some power-play followed (more on the opponent's side), as he pops out with 3 Angels (not counting the one in the village) and starts killing my heroes and taking my towns. Thanks to Town Portal, I do some good scouting, but from external dwellings I only found a mini Dragon Fly Hive and a Unicorn dwelling. The opponent goes into a tier-1 Dragon Utopia with 4 Angels and the Horde ability and pulls out a level 5 hat from there. Brutal)) And he runs toward my dungeon. I can't give up the dungeon — I'm holed up there. The opponent attacks and immediately casts Slayer. I cast Oil. The opponent couldn't make another move. On my next turn, I cast Berserker (the Angel killed a Goblin) and I crashed in with all my forces, then another Berserker (the Angels struck my Minotaur). Then there were no more Angels.
