Evaluating archers.

What questions could there be? I made a map with 100 Elves against 25 Cyclops. And 20 Elves are still left ;)

Yes, but you will lose many more Elves than Cyclops. I would use Orcs for such battles, and there is no one to replace the Elves with.

How did you test this? Maybe you can tell me? I personally created: sand, two heroes (mages, i.e., A. and Z. with zero skills), and deliberately let the Cyclops pass by so that the Elves could shoot first, all without extra morale or luck, and that's it - the Elves are defeated. Check again, you are wrong.

P.S. of course, if I say "great" Elves, then the Cyclops are also upgraded.
