dwp (Elves, Talanar) defeated Noom (Humans, Rutger) 213

Restarted the first one, the object layout was very bad
on the second one, 4th dwell.
From the start, Talanar wanted to rush. But the leveling was terribly clogged, on the last chances after 4-5 attempts it finally settled on acceptable options. The only thing that worked in my favor was that my opponent was unlucky
otherwise he wouldn't have fallen behind like that.

An excellent external dwelling for a human, Iris and Rutger from the start. Decided to play as Rutger, maybe in vain. No machines were brought in, no regen either. On the second one, I messed up the build order and it was either training or archs, I decided to build archs. Broke into gold at 131, got an immediate simultaneous battle - decided not to hit the triple because I suspected I'd see an elf there (which I did), turned around and rode through the centers hoping for freebies. There I grabbed a couple of artifacts for +init, emerged into the opponent's adjacent zone. Then the running around began, trading castles, made a couple of non-critical mistakes and finally decided to try and defend in the elf's castle. In the finale, I failed to regenerate the archs, which sealed the deal. Thanks for the game.
