Why should I care about other weapons when I'm focusing on a sword/shield build? I won't have enough resources for armor, one-handed weapons, and shields if I take that demon. If Revan had said that the enemies would only be demons, then I might have considered it, but as it is, it's just a set of situational skills for an extra attack.
