Evaluating archers.

The downside of Cyclops, like Titans, is their small number compared to other archers. Still, they are high-level units. As for monks/fanatics from the Castle, they are a powerful force. If you count all archers, fanatics rank fifth. And if you don't count wizards, they rank fourth. Plus, they don't have a penalty in melee combat.
