Player of the Year 2016

Maybe we should clarify the nomination title? For example, "Forum Member of the Year" or "Cobra of the Year."

Does the word "nomination" mean anything to you? Just like the fact that the winner is chosen by voting. Obviously, everything will be as subjective as possible. For each person, "Player of the Year" has a different meaning; for some, it's tournament wins, for others, it's progress in growth as a player, and for others, it's demonstrating strong gameplay on streams, etc. Therefore, everyone is free to decide who was the Player of the Year for them.
As an example, why hold a "Rookie of the Year" nomination? You could just award the winner of the "rookie" tournament, and that would be enough.
