Player of the Year 2016

You are mistaken. I won the first Hota Tournament. I sat down and studied everything and prepared thoroughly. But after the tournament, I stopped playing Hota. And I can say that it's not about laziness at all, but as they say, it's a completely different story.

Is there anywhere I can read this story? I don't think the essence of my question is criminal or disrespectful to anyone – where can I read the community's thoughts? Why can SoD be taken seriously when Hota exists?
Hota has a list of more than one hundred improvements compared to SoD. There must be some weighty arguments to outweigh this list. There have already been discussions about this somewhere... I'm asking for a link to it, not to start this discussion here.
And I'm asking for it because one specific participant (Nitro) in our discussion about Player of the Year expressed the idea (without any supporting evidence here) that Hota shouldn't be taken seriously. Well, it needs to be supported somehow. Maybe it's already been discussed somewhere?
