I was ahead of the opponent in map development tempo and army power for the entire game due to the decision to go for the bone converter, but from days 125-127 I almost completely lost my advantage when on day 125 I decided to take a Dragon Utopia near the village on the sands (I took any except max), which the opponent hadn't reached yet — and of course it turned out to be a max one, so I essentially wasted 2 days circling around it. In the end I took it on day 127, got complete garbage, and things were no longer so rosy, especially since neither hero had Logistics at that point. But at the start of the 3rd week, I first got Town Portal in the guild, and then on the 3rd or 4th attempt also got Dimension Door, and Crag Hack finally picked up Logistics at level 17. With the help of 3 support heroes with full control, I managed to find another Dragon Utopia with stats and 2 external dwellings of devils, while also building them up back home. The opponent, seeing such a mess, surrendered.
Thanks for the game.
Inferno vs Necropolis. Well, "Inferno" — after the neutral morale on week 2, there were almost no Pits left, tempo dropped. I had Marius and Kyrre with expert Logistics and gloves, but not getting control meant there was no point in continuing, even though for half the game I wandered near 2 Pandora's Boxes over all of air magic and level 4 spells :D
