comp picked Castle, Dungeon, and Necro, I went Conflux, Swamp, and Barbarian
took 1 res, when Urfetin arrived and things were dire on gold, opp took all 3
in the played-out deal I also ran around for 3 days with 4 heroes, but scouted 3 Griffin Conservatories, 2 of which were throng ones without GS near the Castle))
opp moved very slowly at first, burned a lot of timer, but when turns passed you could see he was fighting the comps, and then fast turns came
I calmly took Swamp first, then Barbarian, built Citadels everywhere, the horses didn't work out at home due to crystals for Pegasi, but oh well, with upcoming Angels that's not critical))
but from the refuge I got Rionda 3 upgraded logs!
on week 2 got to the Conservatory, check the nearest one -- 3! not max, so we go in, the creatures for some reason try to attack the ears, but haste on the upgraded wood didn't let them get loose, we give up half the Dwarves, some brown horses, 2 logs, and 3 ears
then a join of a horde of white Centaurs, with them a grade of the leftovers and a buffed-up Mephala takes another lvl 3, again they try to gnaw at the ears, half of them remain, but plus 3 Angels, another lvl 2 is picked up, Zephyrina, 2 Angels, and Cyclopes are chain-carried to Conflux, the rest goes to the treasure zone from Swamp
I almost reach Conflux, killing the strongest of his heroes along the way, 3 squares to the gate and an empty Castle -- WITH A CAPITOL!!! (the comp tied for 1st place in the tournament for speed of its construction :D ) but..... all that is behind mountains, and the slow road makes a loop, which takes at least 3 days to hoof to Conflux -- I bring the Angels back to the treasure zone to the scouted Dragon Utopia
before it, reinforcements -- ~50 boars, another 77 ears for the future, taken the Dragon Fly Hive, Zephyr, workshop
in the lvl 2 Dragon Utopia gave a hat for stats -- alas, only magic ones, but KV, trident +7 and.... boots!! :)
in any case I was planning to break into the center, and then take the blue main, but the HotA feature of attacking neutrals when jumping to an adjacent cell gave Rionda the opportunity on the remaining 300 movement to break straight home, where I had already set up a chain
then Corkes takes another workshop, next turn could run-jump to opp's main with 100 ears, 7 Angels, duck-Cyclopes, which I decided not to upgrade yet, and to 5 Giants I picked up a loh near the GO
opp has a long turn, at the end of which he writes gg
gotta say, as many games as I remember here of Rionda against Kyrre, always Kiryu gets diplomacy as the 3rd skill :smile04: :smile04:
true, the log used to get logistics as compensation earlier, but not in this game
thanks for the game :)
p.s.: whatever the AC decides about my opp in the official Tournaments, but judging by the connection, he 99.9% has mobile internet with all the accompanying probability of disconnection, so most likely in that case the disconnect was not intentional
and if so, the only thing you can claim is failure to follow a strict repeat of the sequence of actions when replaying, but you'd have to know that by reading the relevant rule among a heap of others, and it's not certain that was done given a relatively short time on HW combined with the reduced relevance of zealously studying the rules thanks to HW-rules
ignorance of the rules, of course, does not exempt from punishment for violation, but only in the form of a loss in the game, not disqualification... however, this is just imho
