That wouldn't work. Because if it's not patched in the early versions, then the participants aren't on equal footing, which is why it wouldn't work. Therefore, it's a bug - but at least they patched it. I have 3.2 and don't have 3.0 and 3.1, therefore. Which means I'm at a disadvantage.
Using navigation bonuses implies getting into a boat and getting out of it to increase the MP reserve (in my opinion, this is no longer the case in SoD 3.2). If a player uses a boat to move between islands (or sections of the same island that are closer by water than by land), this is not considered exploiting a bug. In any case, if there is any (justifiable) reason to use a boat, it is not prohibited.
-----------------
I'll explain it slowly. What is highlighted with dashes was written by the organizers, at the beginning of Blitz N4. From their explanation, it follows that what I wrote was not that it wouldn't work, but that it WOULD work. And Radik proved it by using it, and he is right. No one, including you, objected when this clarification was given, and therefore, now, after the tournament, you're suddenly concerned - for the future? And regarding patching - I'm not sure that 3.2 is better than 3.0. As they say, if it works, don't touch it - it might get worse :) I don't have 3.2, but playing on 3.0 is allowed. The situation is: in the walkthrough, you need to cross a small stream by boat and continue on land, and we both have the Seafarer's Hat. You can do this with good reason, but what should I do? Not cross the stream? But then I'll have a bonus on the other side, on land, and you won't, right? So what? Should I play on 3.2? And I'll advise you to play on 3.0. :) So, we play according to the organizers' rules. Just don't argue with me, argue with them. Let them detail the point:
- it is forbidden to use navigation bonuses on land
as VDV advised them to do. They detailed it. Therefore, at the moment, it is allowed to get out of the boat onto land with the Seafarer's Hat, both in version 3.0 and in version 3.2.
