I think the Lord of Flies is always relevant.

The problem here is that Nefras summons and destroys your followers, so the Lord of Flies will be useless. I don't know if his ability triggers when he's summoned, but if it does, he'll also fill one of the slots with his own summon, which Nefras could have used to summon someone else.
