The organizers mentioned somewhere in the posts that it was supposedly a bug (if you just sit and immediately get out of the boat). But let's say you needed to swim across a narrow stream and then run further; in that case, the bug is inevitably used, and it's not prohibited. Therefore, it was stated that unintentional use of this bug may be allowed if there is a reasonable explanation for why it was necessary.
What you're talking about, dear Iron, doesn't work in version 3.2 of The Shadow of Death, and therefore it can't be used unintentionally.
