Epic War Age (EWA) - Adapted Mod Collection

Greetings! I would like to ask for some clarification. My friend and I would like to play together against 2 AI opponents. We have always found the AI's difficulty level to be a problem (it makes, let's say, not entirely logical decisions). I understand that some changes have been made regarding this issue – scripts and so on. Could you provide more details about this? Are there any other solutions besides scripts? Do maps affect the AI? Is it worth playing in 2v2 mode on randomly generated maps, or are there a couple of excellent maps for this purpose in this mod? Thank you.
