I just can't watch without tears how a vampire poops on a wolf, hurts itself, and then trades it or even evolves and trades it for zero. And if it doesn't trade, the wolf lives for exactly one attack and dies from a fake's spit in its direction, and even then, the wolf deals as much damage to the vampire as it does to you. And no matter how many times I play with them, throwing it on the second turn was effective in maybe two games out of twenty, when some noob priest doesn't have good low-tier units. When a dumb unit dies from any single-damage attack and also deals damage to you, it's a complete disgrace. It just makes you want to say - you're playing effectively.
The 2-2 mounted unit with block was much better, and one mana difference here is not worth it.
