Am I correct in understanding that if a character is attacked with an enchanted weapon that deals elemental magic damage, but the character has immunity to that element, only the weapon's regular physical damage will apply? And will additional magic effects, such as paralysis, freezing, or burning, still take effect in this case?

poisons, various substances, drugs, and potions affecting the mind, and health potions have no effect on the character.

But does regular targeted mind magic work?
