A block is considered a guard that:
- blocks both roads to the villages (the presence/absence of a road in the GO is not taken into account)
- which cannot be killed with a loss of less than half the army
- which cannot be bypassed in less than a day's march (1500 movement points). Movement is calculated "from road to road" along the shortest route. If there are breakable guards along the way, they are considered broken.
Overall, an interesting innovation; it's good that the issue of restarts due to blocks is finally moving forward. Let's see how it works out. But for now, I share the opinion:
:-) if fewer than six Dragon Fly Hives are revealed, then tech re. Bring on the restarts until chocolate!
p.s. on the first day
My IMHO, a block is when it's absolutely impossible; for everything else, there are restarts. I don't see a fundamental difference between one day of detour, or a long winding path that takes 2 days to run? Or how is a road intersection more critical than a bad respawn composition?
