Fixes are bad because there are people who have played some maps so much that they know them inside and out, and if you woke them up in the morning, they could immediately tell you where everything is... + the map editor doesn't contribute to interesting gameplay... Random maps - ask me at the beginning of the tournament, and I would definitely be all for it! But after playing on random maps in an official tournament, I realized that it's... well, not great. Because random maps need to be created and carefully reviewed in advance to avoid a huge imbalance, which is what I encountered... Editing the necessary things takes time, and you need a lot of random maps to keep things from getting boring... But of course, I would like to play on a well-edited random map.
