Perhaps we can already draw some conclusions. I hope that no one else will die in the remaining week, and otherwise, I doubt anything will change for me.
1. For reasons beyond my control, the year started badly. Fortunately, it wasn't like that for the whole year. But this January is definitely the worst January of my life.
2. The list of goals has been completed by 0.0% - i.e., nothing good. On the other hand, there are microscopic movements in the right direction. It didn't throw me back, as it did last year. So, it's tolerable. If it continues like this, in about 5 years I will be able to say that I am halfway to my goal.
3. On the positive side, two childhood dreams came true by pure chance:
- Living on the seashore (even with the bonus of eternal summer, which I didn't even dream of)
- Finding a company that makes normal high-heeled shoes for my feet (it's Pansy, in case anyone is interested)
4. The list of adventures has been significantly expanded.
I went on another cable car ride. The fear of heights hasn't gone away, but I managed to avoid a panic attack. It's a small thing, but it's nice.
I added "war" and "earthquake" to the list of events, and now also "burning peat bogs". And I survived again.
5. I leveled up a couple of skills.
- Language skills - that's obvious, but I would like to achieve more than I have.
- I suddenly learned how to navigate. I thought my topographic ineptitude was an innate trait and incurable, but no... a year of using a navigator, and now I can even intuitively choose the right direction without looking at my phone.
In summary:
It could have been worse. So, no, it's not the worst year.
