Heroes 5 + Windows 8.1 + laptop: terrible performance.

Is there a way to run Heroes of Might and Magic V in compatibility mode with Windows 7?

Yes, I tried all possible compatibility modes (XP/Vista/7), and there's no difference.
Maybe try running it with the integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated one...
