Sacred Haven of Debauchery

Today, I remembered a moment from my childhood and came to the conclusion that I had problems even back then. I remember once encountering a neighbor (a man around 50, maybe younger), and he gave me a bag of candy. I later threw it away because I was afraid to eat something obtained in that way (I was paranoid). And just like that, I always noticed if a plate was dirty, or if a spoon or fork was dirty, and I would always wash them repeatedly, as well as my hands.
