Faydeen is the best of the best if he has a lot of elven archers and druids. Among the Dark Elves, Raylag and Vaishan are the best. For the Necromancers, Markel is powerful; all the creatures of the Necropolis join his army, and that's something. On one map, I gathered 30,000 skeletons and 2,000 archliches with him. For the Dwarves, Erling with runic priests. For the Mages, Zehir and Jalib. For the Demons, Deleb. For the Humans, Axel and Iris. And still, Faydeen is the best!!!
If I had Markel in a regular game, I would use him exclusively as a supporting hero. For the Humans, Isabel could be an excellent main trainer. IMHO, Iranna is no worse than Vaishan. And for the Demons, I would prefer Agral.
