Despite the overall craziness of the users in the off-topic section, I genuinely feel like we're one big, friendly family.

Don't you think that not everyone might appreciate reading such things about themselves? And that not everyone is obligated to agree with your assessment? And that you could have simply projected this characteristic onto "normal people" without giving it a second thought?
