For now, I'm still reading. I found an interesting, but still rather weak, point in the biography of one of the commanders, Frederick I:
Just a year later, Frederick lost many of his supporters, largely due to the conclusion of the extremely unfavorable Treaty of Nystad for Sweden in 1721. Furthermore, his attempts to expand his powers at the expense of the existing form of government also caused dissatisfaction.
It brings to mind another king who likes to expand his powers. However, this can hardly be considered a good clue. I will dig deeper.
