Silly computer, can we get a fix?

This is assuming the player knows how to program. You can be an average player and not write anything because you lack programming knowledge.

And yet, no one has written anything in all this time.

I meant simply to abstractly write an algorithm. A step-by-step instruction on what and how to do. This is not difficult for a skilled player. The challenge lies in translating it into a programming language and implementing it in the game – this requires being a very good programmer.
