Black Metal, what is your opinion on it?

One of my favorite metal styles. Along with thrash metal. Most of the bands simply captivate with their sound. The lyrics and themes are not the most important thing for me; the music is. The sound is usually raw, with "blurred" guitar parts, tremolo, and the typical use of blast beats, along with screaming vocals (mostly with growls). I've listened to many bands, and here are some of the ones I listen to most often: Bathory, Mayhem, Burzum, Darkthrone, Immortal, Dimmu Borgir, Emperor, Cradle of Filth, Marduk, Dark Funeral, Carpathian Forest, 1349, Taake, Nargaroth, Abigor, Silencer, Xasthur, Judas Iscariot, Ajattara, and others.
