So, I'm not under any illusions that I'll be strung up with a whole line of Mafiosi. That's obviously not the case.
However, one or two might sneak into these ranks, or might sneak in later.
And I don't think NNV is a good alternative.
In a normal, classic Mafia game, you should always have two voting lines, sometimes three. Since I'm being nominated for one of them, I need to create and justify a second one. And it's very desirable that it be in the Mafia, otherwise there will be a situation where two townspeople are hanging, which is much less informative.
So, if I do find a Mafia member, there will be a lot of information from the vote, even if I end up being the one hanging. Because there will definitely be a hint about my role, and it will become clear that there was a mistake about me.
Logically, suspicion will fall on the alternative candidate to me and everyone who voted for me, and those who didn't vote for me will get a serious boost to their perceived innocence.
The only problem is that if I don't find a Mafia member as an alternative to myself, you can't make much happen with two townspeople on the chopping block.
And I ask everyone to answer Revan's question: what did you like/dislike about his gameplay? He's asking, after all.
