But why is only one role described in the newspaper? In general, does anyone have any ideas, is it a Mafia role or a Town role?

It must be Hjaljot's role because he has no other roles, and no one could have taken it away from him based on the priority of actions. I think the Mafia did some kind of hidden action as their second role.
