The analysis showed that I had a typical blue starting position: the only road leads to a village (Citadel, no room for a Mage Guild) and an exit, another exit nearby, entrances - a week's travel through rough terrain. The entrance to the respawn crossroads is 4 days' travel from the main town. So I was lucky that the opponent made a mistake somewhere.
