I've been trying for a long time to find information about a game online with autobattle disabled.
I play The Shadow of Death from Buka with a friend online, using Hamachi. We played with autobattle enabled, but we still want to fight each other in real-time... Is that possible?
If we disable autobattle in the options, the game freezes.
Does this depend on the version? How can I fix this?
And another question: how can I find out the version of the installed game?
It might be some kind of bug. It can't be due to version incompatibility; if the versions weren't compatible, you simply wouldn't be able to connect. If a battle takes place between two players, even if the autobattle option is enabled, you will fight without it, i.e., in normal mode. This is just my opinion; I might be wrong.
How to check the game version? I don't know. I can't figure it out myself. I had version 3.0; I checked this in the options of the hero icons in the game folder on the "version" tab. Then I patched it to 3.2, but nothing changed there. Maybe it's supposed to be like that?
